Travel Information- Flights from the UK
From approximately the beginning of May to the middle of November, there are direct flights to Kalamata.
Easy Jet flies from Gatwick.
B.A. fly from Heathrow.

It is a 35 minute drive by car from Kalamata Airport to the house.
There are frequent flights to Athens all year round with many airlines. The journey to the house takes approximately 3 1/2hours. It is easy motorway driving all the way from Athens to Kalamata.
There is a local car hire firm in Chrani who will bring cars to Kalamata Airport to meet you off your plane. We recommend them and can give you their contact details.
Things To Do
Hire a canoe, Laser, windsurfer etc on Zaga Beach beyond the fort in Koroni during the season. There are also local beaches where you can hire a paddleboard or a kayak.
Golf at the renowned Golf courses of Costa Navarino.
Watersports and scuba diving in Finikounda.
Turtles nest on Zaga Beach.
There is riding just outside Chrani
The fort at Koroni with its small monastery is well worth visiting as is Methoni with the twin fort to Koroni.
A visit to Nestor's Palace (Ruins), Voidokilia Beach beyond and the castle and museum at Pylos are all highly recommended and the drive across the peninsular to get there.
There is a lovely walk upstream to a pool with waterfalls 40 minutes drive from the house - details are in the house information.
A visit to Old Messene is highly recommended - it is a stunning and extensive site built mostly in 369 BC. You could easily spend a couple of hours wandering around the site where you can see down to Kalamata and the sea.
Another attraction is the famous castle of Kalamata that hosts dance performances and events with renowned artists from all over the world during summer months.
